Prayer Changes Things
Prayer Requests
As a church family we want to be in prayer for one another and we are asking our Christian brothers and sisters
in the Lord to continue to lift up those who are reaching out for prayer. Please be sure to keep us updated with
any new developments or praise reports. We currently have the following requests:
Prayer Requests:
Rob Nicola - Dave's brother recently suffered a stroke in additional to several other medicals issues he has been dealing with. Please pray for his full recovery and strength for his family including Dave and Faith. (4-16-24)
Dave Hertzler - Dave is continuing to undergo treatment and physical therapy due to the accident he was involved in. Please pray for his continued recovery and where he will be living following his release. (4-16-24)
Tina Stine- Tina is undergoing radiation and chemo treatments. There is a possibility of contracting a brain infection that would cause her to need brain surgery. We need to pray for complete healing for Tina and pray against any brain infection as she undergoes treatment for cancer. We pray that every cancer cell come under the Blood of Jesus and die away. We replace those damaged cells with healthy, whole cells, in Jesus' name. (04-07-24))
Bill Rudolph - Bill's job is being phased out after his company was sold. Please pray for direction into a new line of work and for the peace and comfort of God's provision for he and Beth. (3-31-24)
September Fake - September was informed that her job has been phased out and she is without a job. Please pray for direction, a quick solution, and peace for her, Will, and the children. (3-31-24)
Mary Conrad- Her sister Marjorie Reynolds who attends RLC, is asking for prayer for Mary who has dementia. Please pray for a sound mind and healing for her. (3-17-24)
John - The brother-in-law of Bill Popp, had open-heart triple by-pass surgery. He is recoving but needs our prayers for a full recovery. (3-17-24)
2023

Dr. Douglas Di Raddo - Pastor Dave's brother will be undergoing a second back surgery on December 13. This is a much more aggressive surgery that will require surgical entrances on both his back and front. He will be on the table for approximately 4 1/2 hours. Please pray for Doug, the surgeons, and all those involved in this procedure. (11-24-23)
UPDATE - Doug's surgery and initial recovery have gone very well! However, not long after recovery bagan a hematoma developed on his abdomen. It was finally removed and he is recovering from the procedure. Praise God for answered prayer! (3-12-24)
Lexi- The granddaughter of RLC's own Dawn Beaverson was in a car accident where her car flipped multiple times. Lexi broke her back and had surgery. She is 17 years old. Lexi is now home and recuperating. Let us keep her in prayer for a full recovery. (10-22-23)
David Hertzler - Dave is Roberta Popp's son. On Tuesday, September 5, Dave was hit by a car at the intersection of Paxton and Cameron streets while riding his bike. He sustained multiple injuries including head trauma, a broken shoulder, and broken fibula among other superficial injuries. Dave underwent surgery to put his shoulder back together and is revcovering from that operation with more to follow. Please pray for Dave's healing as well as for all those who will be taking care of him. (9-9-23)
UPDATE: On Wednesday, November 1, Dave was transferred to a rehab center outside of Philadelphia. Please continue to pray for Dave's complete healing and that he will settle in quickly for his time there.
Vance Crawford- One of the RLC elders is experiencing health issues and his wife is asking for prayer as he undergoes testing. She is asking for prayer for complete healing. (8-13-23)
Bill Reynolds - Bill recently underwent a procedure to place a stent in his bowel duct and everyting went very well. This follows another fairly recent procedure several weeks ago involving his heart. Please continue to pray for Bill, his recovery, and that his strength will be restored quickly. Also, pray that his body will adjust to the various medications he needs to be taking during his recovery time. (7-9-23)
Brandon Halbrook- This young child is fighting aggressive cancer. We are being asked to lift him before the Lord in prayer for a miracle healing. If you have connection to other prayer chains, please add him to it. (4-30-23)
Jen McCreary- This dear lady was diagnosed with a having a disease in her stomach and she is asking for prayer for healing. (04-16-23)
Brittany and husband Beau- Grandchildren of Jane Swope. Jane contacted us to ask for prayer. Brittany and Beau were on a motorcycle and someone pulled out in front of them. Beau was airlifted to Tyler Hospital in Texas and is in surgery. Brittany was taken to Athens to be evaluated and may be taking her to Tyler as well due to her leg being badly damaged. Please pray for these two people to receive God's healing and recovery. (3-1-23)
